The race is held each year at Lake Scott State Park, north of Scott City. Hidden in the Western Kansas prairie, Lake Scott State Park is a startling oasis of natural springs, deeply wooded canyons, and craggy bluffs. The 1,020-acre park surrounds the 100-acre spring-fed Lake Scott Fishing Lake. We welcome walkers, casual joggers, advanced runners, strollers, and wheelchairs. No bikes, skateboards, rollerblades, etc.
